§ 2-8-5. AUTHORITY OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO BORROW MONEY.

  • The Board of County Commissioners of Frederick County may borrow an amount not to exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) in any fiscal year from a bank or other lending institution for the purpose of making loans to volunteer ambulance and rescue departments in Frederick County to purchase vehicles and equipment to be used by the departments. The board of county commissioners shall approve all terms and conditions on loans from a bank or other lending institution.
